Inflatable Purge Systems & Dams

Light Duty Inflatable Bladders

Heavy Duty Inflatable Bladders

Spherical & Cylindrical Pipe Stoppers

Low Pressure Plugs & Purge Kits

Justram supplies pipe purge equipment for controlling the atmosphere around internal pipe and tube welds, together with plugs and stoppers for their specified applications. Select by actual bore, access, material compatibility, temperature and the welding or maintenance task.

Weld purge dams and complete systems

Purge dams and purge systems confine the volume that needs inert gas around the weld. The range includes PurgElite, PurgExtra, QuickPurge and single-ended arrangements. For elevated-temperature work, review the specific HotPurge temperature and exposure limits.

Use a weld purge monitor and the oxygen limit specified by the welding procedure. Purge time and gas consumption depend on the enclosed volume, seals, flow, access and gas leakage; equipment selection alone does not guarantee a defect-free weld.

Pipe plugs, stoppers and bladders

The catalogue includes mechanical plugs, chemical-resistant stoppers, high-expansion and low-profile designs, and heavy-duty inflatable bladders. These products have different functions and operating limits. A chemical-resistant material must be checked against the actual substance, concentration and temperature.

Type C inflatable stoppers are intended here for foreign material exclusion (FME) and stopper applications. Their presence in this category does not establish a pressure-test or process-isolation rating.

Keep purging separate from pressure testing

A weld purge dam is not automatically a pressure-test closure, and a stopper is not automatically suitable for hazardous process isolation. For hydrostatic work, use the pipe and tube test plug range and confirm the rating of the exact model and complete test arrangement.
