The CLIMAX BB5000 is a portable line boring machine for on-site bore repair, maintenance and production machining. Its modular drive, feed and bearing arrangement allows the setup to be adapted to the workpiece and available space.
BB5000 package available from Justram
Justram has a BB5000 package available with a 2-1/4-inch boring bar. The available unit is CSA inspected. Contact Justram for the current package contents, drive and electrical details, inspection documentation and quotation.
Confirm the actual bore diameter and required tooling before ordering. A machine-family capacity range does not mean that every diameter can be machined with the same bar or the accessories included in a particular package.

Setup and machining options
The through-bar design allows the rotational drive and feed unit to be positioned along the bar, including between bearing supports where the application permits. Setup cones and spherical bearing mounts assist alignment and support.
Compatible accessories extend the machine to operations such as blind boring, facing, drilling and valve repair. A suitable interface kit supports alignment with CLIMAX Auto BoreWelders for bore build-up and subsequent machining. These capabilities depend on the equipment and tooling selected; they are not a statement that every accessory is included.

Send Justram the starting and finished bore diameters, bore length and spacing, material, required tolerance and finish, available mounting space, and power supply. Include a drawing or photographs where possible so the bar, supports, drive, feed and tooling can be matched to the job.
