Tri Tool 208B Pipe Bevelling Machine
The Tri Tool 208B BEVELMASTER is an ID-mounted pipe bevelling machine for facing, beveling and counterboring in one setup with suitable tooling. Standard mandrel mounting covers 1.630–8.870 inches ID (41.4–225.3 mm), with machining up to approximately 8.63 inches OD (219.2 mm). Ask Justram to configure the machine for your pipe and weld preparation.
Portable pipe end preparation
The 208B combines an internal mandrel with an in-line feed and three adjustable tool holders. The open holder arrangement provides a view of the cut. Adjustable torque keys help control wear-related play, while the cutting bits and feed are selected for the material and required end profile.
Mounting and drive selection
| Specification | Listed value |
|---|---|
| Standard mandrel mounting ID | 1.630–8.870 in (41.4–225.3 mm) |
| Optional 2-inch XX mandrel mounting ID | 1.503–1.650 in (38.2–41.9 mm) |
| Maximum machining OD | Approximately 8.63 in (219.2 mm) |
| Counterboring range | 2.000–8.330 in (50.8–211.6 mm) |
| Listed air/hydraulic wall limit | 0.875 in (22.2 mm) |
| Listed electric wall limit | 0.438 in (11.1 mm) |
| Axial feed travel | 2.000 in (50.8 mm) |
| Air supply | 85 cfm at 90 psi (621 kPa) |
Mandrel ID and cutting OD are separate limits. Confirm the actual pipe dimensions, drive, tool holders and operation. Wall capacity is procedure-dependent, particularly for heavy-wall or high-temperature alloy work.
Current manufacturer weights vary by motor: 56 lb (25.4 kg) with air, 63 lb (28.6 kg) with electric and 75 lb (34.0 kg) with hydraulic drive. Confirm the supplied assembly and accessories when planning handling.
Optional attachments
- Flange-facing attachment: listed 1.75–16.50-inch diameter range (44.5–419.1 mm).
- Small elbow mandrel: 1.630–2.560 inches ID (41.4–65.0 mm); larger elbow kit: 2.510–8.400 inches ID (63.8–213.4 mm).
- Miter mandrel: listed 3.82–8.43 inches ID (97.0–214.1 mm).
- Size-specific sleeve mandrels support suitable thin-wall pipe applications.
- ID tracking attachment: listed minimum 4.00-inch ID (101.6 mm); confirm the kit and pipe geometry.
Accessories and cutting bits must match the exact machine configuration. Provide a drawing for flange, elbow or miter work so Justram can review the mounting and clearance.
