PSPC rubber inflatable pipe stoppers are latex-rubber, ribbed-body stoppers for suitable pipe sealing, testing and debris-exclusion applications. Five models cover overlapping pipe-diameter ranges, allowing the required size to be selected from the actual inside diameter.
PSPC rubber stopper models and sealing ranges
Match the model to the listed sealing range. Nominal pipe size alone may not reflect the bore of the pipe being sealed. The pressure column below is the inflation pressure inside the stopper; it is not a pipeline back-pressure rating.

Rubber construction and application review
These PSPC stoppers are made from latex rubber; they should not be described as chemically resistant. For any exposure to liquid, gas, heat or process media, provide the medium, concentration, temperature and exposure duration so Justram can confirm whether this rubber construction is suitable for the intended service.
Potential uses include drain testing, leak testing, low-pressure hydrostatic testing and exclusion of machining debris. Suitability depends on the selected model and operating conditions. Heated work, gas containment and irregular pipe surfaces require specific review.
Inflation and installation requirements
Confirm the supplied inflation connection, hose and compatible inflation equipment for the selected PSPC model. Use the specified inflation pressure and obtain the permitted pipeline back pressure and restraint requirements for the installation.
Check the bore, contact surface and available straight pipe length. Do not assume a sealing guarantee for worn or out-of-round pipe, or that a ribbed body replaces the required support and restraint. Ask Justram to confirm any through-tube or bypass requirement.
