Elastomer Condenser Tube Plugs — Torq N Seal
Torq N Seal TNS-ECP elastomer condenser plugs for low-pressure heat-exchanger tubes. Aluminium bodies with EPDM seals; manufacturer limits are 250 psi and 300°F (approximately 150°C). Select by tube inside diameter and service conditions.
Torq N Seal TNS-ECP elastomer condenser tube plugs use an aluminium body and EPDM seal for condenser and low-pressure heat-exchanger maintenance. Select a plug whose expansion range includes the measured tube inside diameter.
Service limits and installation tooling
- Maximum operating pressure: 250 psi (1.7 MPa).
- Maximum service temperature: 300°F (approximately 150°C), as specified in the manufacturer’s current installation instructions.
- Body and seal: 6061 aluminium / EPDM.
- Specified installation torque: 120 in-lb (10 ft-lb; approximately 13.5 N·m).
- Use the included 5/16-inch Hex Capture Drive with a suitable 3/8-inch square-drive torque wrench, supplied separately.

Application review and instructions
Provide the tube bore, operating pressure and temperature, process fluid and concentration, and quantity. EPDM and aluminium compatibility must be checked for the actual service; a general chemical-resistance description does not establish suitability for every application.
