Thanks to its low weight, the Holmatro CAT Cutter® is specifically designed and ideally suited for removing the majority of catalytic converters from recycled vehicles. The special U-shaped scissor blades provide easier and more direct access to reaching “Cats” than guillotine-style cutters. The specially designed blades pull the material towards the strongest point of the cutter.

The Holmatro CAT Cutter is safer to operate than other tools used for removing catalytic converters and can only be operated using both hands. All moving parts are guarded. It incorporates a dead man’s function and, unlike other popular tools used to perform this function, the cutter blades cannot be accidentally activated.

The ICU 07 A cutter is lightweight, with U shaped blades. Therefore, this cutter is suitable in applications like: Demolition: scrap, strip, profiles, frames, etc. The “U” shaped blades are perfectly suitable for cutting catalytic converters, exhaust pipes, doors, A- and B-posts, engine mountings, steering columns, bumpers, bull bars and pressed steel wishbones.

A hydraulic pump and set of hoses are required to be purchased separately with the Cat Cutter. Holmatro supplies a variety of hydaulic pumps which could be Air operated of Electric operated units. We supply all electrical pumps with CSA Inspected label.
