The Tri Tool 572AC SEVERMASTER cuts small tubing and suitable thin-wall pipe from 0.250 to 2.000 inches OD (6.4–50.8 mm). Small-tube cutting with adjustable feed
The 572AC feeds the cutting bit in controlled increments as the head rotates. The start and finish positions can be set for the tube, and the auto-cycle mechanism returns the tool after the cut. Variable motor speed provides another setting to match the material and wall.
A single lever closes the quick-lock collet. Select the appropriate 200-series collet for the actual tube OD and confirm it is included with the machine package.

Earlier catalogue material lists a 0.065-inch (1.65 mm) wall limit. Confirm the exact unit and tooling before applying the current 0.125-inch rating to an older machine. Heavier-wall procedures require manufacturer review.
Select the severing bit and end finish
Tool-bit edge width and geometry are chosen for the tube wall and the required condition of the mounting or drop-off edge. Inspect the finished cut and any remaining burr against the next operation. Chip form depends on material and cutting conditions.
The optional SQM-1AC adds end-squaring capability. Confirm its compatibility and tooling when a separate face preparation is required after severing.
Configure the package
Provide tube OD, wall, material, straight gripping length and desired cut length. Carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome alloys, copper-nickel and aluminium require appropriate tooling; Inconel and other high-temperature alloys may need special procedures. Specify cleanliness and contact-surface requirements for high-purity tubing.
