Motorized Saddle Pipe Cutting Machines — Mathey
Mathey Dearman motorized saddle pipe cutting machines provide powered torch travel for pipe cutting and beveling. Select the saddle size, spacer set, voltage and compatible torch system for the job. This listing covers powered travel; programmed profiling is addressed by the separate CNC saddle range.
Powered torch travel for pipe cutting and beveling
A motorized Mathey saddle machine carries a compatible machine torch around the pipe at a controlled travel speed. The required speed depends on the cutting process, material and wall thickness. Motorized travel does not by itself provide CNC profile programming.
Machine package and torch requirements
The listed package comprises the powered saddle with control, torch arm, carrier, mounting spacers and operating documentation. The standard carrier is specified for a 1.375-inch (approximately 35 mm) torch barrel. The machine cutting torch and storage box are listed separately.
Specify the required voltage and control generation. Plasma operation needs a compatible torch, carrier and process interface; confirm the plasma power-source model and connection before ordering. A controller or retrofit must be matched to the existing saddle rather than assumed interchangeable.
Legacy model and package reference
The table retains Justram’s M00/M02 package references and listed spacer sets for existing-equipment identification. Current manufacturer packages may use different control and part references. In particular, this older 8SA configuration lists 40–48-inch pipe, while the current family guide starts at 36 inches; confirm the installed spacers and kit before extending its range. Metric weights and dimensions are approximate conversions.

Pipe designations in the range and spacer rows are nominal sizes, not measured outside diameters. Provide actual OD for spacer selection. Freight weight and packed dimensions depend on the final motor, accessories and packaging and should be confirmed for shipment.
Request a configured cutting package
Send pipe OD, wall thickness, material, cut or bevel drawing, torch details, supply voltage and available clearance. Include the saddle model, serial number and controller details for replacement parts or a retrofit. For alternatives, compare manual saddle machines and CNC saddle pipe cutting machines.
