Piranha III Tungsten Grinder

The Piranha III DGP-PG3-A prepares TIG tungsten electrodes by longitudinal diamond grinding, tip flattening and notching. The model carried by Justram is CSA inspected.

Electrode capacity and setup

The collet accommodates .040, 1/16, 3/32, 1/8, 5/32 and 3/16 inch electrodes (1.0–4.8 mm). Minimum electrode length is 1.75 inches (44.5 mm). Set the 10–60° included angle and tip flat to your welding procedure.

Dust handling and accessories

The enclosed grinding area and sliding shield collect dust for disposal. Follow the manufacturer’s handling and maintenance instructions and your workplace controls for the electrode material. A vacuum connection port supports an optional upgrade.
