PurgEye 200 Purge Monitor for Titanium Welding

What oxygen level should I use for titanium welding?

Use the oxygen limit specified by your qualified welding procedure and job requirements. There is no single acceptance value for every titanium weld. Check instrument accuracy at the required limit: the PurgEye 200 displays down to 1 ppm, but its measurement is specified as accurate down to 10 ppm. A 1 ppm display is not a claim of 1 ppm accuracy.

Should I choose the PurgEye 200 or PurgEye 300 Nano?

Choose the 200 when battery operation and an integral sampling pump are important. The PurgEye 300 Nano titanium welding purge monitor is a simpler mains-powered option for a constant flow of exhaust purge gas, without integral pumping, data logging or machine interlocks.
