Repeatable electrode extension
Tungsten stick-out is the distance the electrode projects beyond the gas cup. The TG1 provides a convenient reference when setting this distance during TIG torch preparation.

CK lists the smaller TG1-24 separately for 8-series torches and MR140. Confirm the gauge against your torch, cup and electrode before ordering; this listing is for TG1.
Use with the selected welding setup
Choose the required electrode extension from the torch instructions and welding procedure, considering cup size, gas-lens arrangement, gas coverage and joint access. Check the extension again after changing or regrinding the tungsten.
The gauge helps reproduce a setting; it does not establish a universal maximum stick-out or guarantee adequate shielding. Record the cup, electrode and extension together when repeatability matters.
