Full-function orbital GTAW weldhead for large-diameter and heavy-wall pipe from 4.5–84 in. OD. The T-Head 419 supports guide-ring, preheat and FLX-TRACK configurations for pipe, tanks, vessels and ductwork.
Large-diameter and heavy-wall orbital GTAW welding
The Magnatech T-Head 419 is a full-function orbital welding head for multi-pass GTAW pipe-to-pipe and pipe-to-fitting work. It provides the controlled travel, filler wire, arc-gap adjustment and oscillation needed for demanding large-diameter or heavy-wall applications.

- Pipe and tube OD range of 4.5–84 in. (114.30–2,134 mm) with the appropriate guide-ring configuration.
- Water-cooled torch with 300 A continuous capability.
- Programmable rotation, filler-wire feed, electronic arc-gap control, oscillation and cross-seam adjustment.
- Oversize guide rings and adaptor feet can be selected for suitable preheated-pipe applications.
- FLX-TRACK options support suitable ID and OD welding on larger tanks, vessels and ductwork.
Applications
The T-Head 419 is specified for power-generation piping, process piping, chemical-facility work, shipyard fabrication, steam-generation equipment and other large-diameter welding projects requiring controlled GTAW passes.

Compatible systems and accessories
The T-Head 419 is compatible with the Pipemaster 515 and Pipemaster 516. Guide rings, adaptor feet, FLX-TRACK sections, magnetic or vacuum attachment, cooling equipment and cable reach must be selected for the complete installation.
