Portable Tungsten Grinder — CK Turbo-Sharp X

The CK Turbo-Sharp X TS10 portable tungsten grinder prepares TIG electrodes with repeatable longitudinal grinding. Its enclosed grinding area helps limit dust exposure, and the angle adjustment lets you select the tip geometry required by your welding procedure.

Standard head and grinding features

• TS3-HB standard head for .040 inch (1.0 mm), 1/16 inch (1.6 mm), 3/32 inch (2.4 mm) and 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) electrodes
• 20–60° adjustable grinding angle
• Cover opening for preparing a flat on the electrode tip
• Diamond-coated grinding wheel with usable surfaces on both sides
• Portable format for handheld use or mounting as described in the manual

TS10 specifications

TS10 is the 120 V model. The separately identified TS10-230 is the 230 V version; check the machine label and available supply.

Optional head, short-tungsten kit and spares

The optional TS3-HR head supports larger electrodes through 1/4 inch (6.4 mm). The short-tungsten kit requires the TS3-HR head and holds electrodes down to 3/4 inch (19 mm); its listed collets are .040, 1/16 and 3/32 inch. These accessories are separate from the standard-head grinder. TS3-W is the replacement grinding wheel.

Dust handling and operating instructions

An enclosed housing does not eliminate dust-handling precautions. Follow CK’s instructions for dust removal, wheel changes and electrode preparation, together with your workplace controls for the electrode material. Disconnect power before maintenance.
