EST G160 Tube Leak Testing Guns

EST G160 tube leak-testing guns use compressed air to check individual tubes in heat exchangers, boilers and condensers. The system pairs an injection tool with a plugging tool and uses interchangeable seal and washer sets matched to the tube inside diameter.

Why choose pressure testing for high tube counts

For hundreds or thousands of tubes, the G160 pressure-testing method reduces operator fatigue. Compressed air expands the size-specific seal, reducing the manual force needed to maintain a seal at each tube opening while supporting reliable, repeatable testing. Select the seal and washer set for the actual tube ID and gauge.

Tube size coverage

• Standard kit: 0.49–1.11 inch tube ID (12.4–28.2 mm).
• With appropriate optional support assemblies: 0.28–1.81 inch tube ID (7.1–46.0 mm).
• Size-specific neoprene seal and washer sets are selected separately for the tubes being tested.

Application and operating requirements
