Elliott RECON Tube Leak Test Guns
Elliott RECON 1250 and 2500 pneumatic tube leak-test guns for heat exchangers and condensers. Select by tube OD, wall thickness and actual bore; seal sets are ordered separately. Both tube ends require access.
Elliott RECON 1250 and 2500 pressure test guns check individual heat-exchanger and condenser tubes using an injection gun and a plugging gun. These are pressure-testing systems; the RECON 1500 is a separate vacuum-testing model.
Choose by tube outside diameter and bore
The manufacturer lists the RECON 1250 for 0.500–1.375 inch tube OD (12.7–34.9 mm) and the RECON 2500 for 1.250–2.500 inch tube OD (31.75–63.5 mm). Not every wall thickness at 1.250 or 1.375 inch OD is supported. Confirm the measured bore and matching support assembly.

These are separate support ranges, not continuous coverage with one assembly.
RECON 1250 package — TTP1250
The package includes the pressure test-gun set, TTPST1/TTPST2/TTPST3 support assemblies, pressure regulator and tool case. Order the required seals separately; TTP1250SK is the associated full-range seal-kit option.
RECON 2500 package — TTP2500
The package includes the pressure test-gun set, TTPST4 support components, washers for the applicable seal sets and tool case. Select additional supports and seals for the intended range; TTP2500SK is the associated seal-kit option. Confirm the complete package against your tube schedule.
Air supply, access and documentation
The RECON 1250 manual specifies 40–125 psi plant air at a minimum 5 cfm. For 0.282–0.510 inch tube ID, its regulator is required and the manual specifies 40–60 psi. Follow the correct model’s full instructions for setup, seal sizing and testing. Contact Justram for the current operating documentation for the selected RECON model.
Provide tube OD, wall thickness or measured bore, tube length, tubesheet spacing, access depth and quantity. Extended supports can be reviewed for channel heads and water boxes.
