Watts CNC Pipe Cutting Machines — W Series
Watts W Series CNC pipe cutting machines offer two- and six-axis configurations with plasma and oxy-fuel cutting options. Compare the listed models and request a configuration matched to your pipe fabrication work.
Watts CNC pipe cutting machines combine pipe handling, profile programming and torch positioning for fabrication work. This W Series page brings together the W-122, W-124, W-242, W-244 and W-364 model descriptions to help you compare machine configurations.
3D-Profile Plus Software
All CNC Machines come with 3DPP software allowing you to link the machines with cam modules to both upstream and downstream workflows, significantly reducing Production time, Material Costs and Errors,
W-122 (2 Axis) CNC Pipe Cutting Machine
W-122 Computer controlled pipe cutting machine manually conveys and rotates pipe from 2″ to 12.75″ OD with a 24′ machine bed (expandable to 50′) capable of supporting 300 lbs. per foot to a maximum of 6,000 lbs. to include:
- 2-axis profiling carriage with manual bevel positions preset at 90 degrees, 30 degrees, 37.5 degrees. Other bevel angles can be set with the locking mechanism.
- Tracking torch head includes vertical and horizontal tracking mechanism to maintain torch height and pipe centerline to automatically compensation for bent or out-of-round pipe.
- Floating pipe clamp with locking mechanism for accurate rotation that eliminates pipe walk.
- 3D pipe cutting software for at-machine and remote pipe cut programming and job management. The software vastly simplifies the importing, design and nesting of parts, streamlines job estimating, scheduling and inventory management, and allows job tracking in real-time.
W-124 (6 Axis) CNC Pipe Cutting Machine
W-124 Computer controlled pipe cutting machine conveys and rotates pipe from 2″ to 12.75″ OD with a 24′-50′ machine bed capable of supporting 300 lbs. per foot to a maximum of 6,000 lbs. to include:
- 6-axis profiling carriage on precision machined and hardened track. Simultaneous motion maintains the torch cutting position along the linear axis of the pipe and perpendicular to the linear axis to perform beveled holes and end cuts.
W-242 (2 Axis) CNC Pipe Cutting Machine
W-242 Computer controlled pipe cutting machine conveys and rotates pipe from 2″ to 24″ OD with a 20′-50′ machine bed capable of supporting 500 lbs. per foot to a maximum of 10,000-20,000 lbs.
- Hydraulically controlled lift deck with machine conveyor on cutting bed.
- Hydraulically actuated off loader arms to transfer the pipe off the cutting cell.
- 3D pipe cutting software for at-machine and remote pipe cut programming and job management. The software vastly simplifies the importing, design and nesting of parts, streamlines job estimating, scheduling and inventory management, and allows job tracking in real-time.
W-244 (6 Axis) CNC Pipe Cutting Machine
W-244 Computer controlled pipe cutting machine conveys and rotates pipe from 2″ to 24″ OD with a 20′-50′ machine bed capable of supporting 500 lbs. per foot to a maximum of 10,000-20,000 lbs. to include:
- 6-axis profiling carriage on precision machined and hardened track. Simultaneous motion maintains the torch cutting position along the linear axis of the pipe and perpendicular to the linear axis to perform beveled holes and end cuts.
